CIMG0906 The Tron Guy presents his costume at cosplay at Linucon 2005

CIMG0906 Jay Maynard, a.k.a. The Tron Guy, was one of the Linucon 2005 cosplaym competitors. This time his costume was a guard program from Tron. Like his “trademark” Tron costume for which he is known, this one also had glowing strips. As he presented it on stage, he had the following exchange with Anne, the hostess of cosplay:

Anne: Why do you glow?

Jay: Programs glow.

Anne. No, I mean in the technical sense.
