CIMG2939 Within minutes of seeing the magenta-haired person, I saw another person with purple hair, “metal” attire and a bag with a skull on it in the subway in Stockholm.

In 2006, “fashion” hair colors was pretty rare in the United States. It took another 5-10 years for everybody to start dyeing their hair purple, magenta, green, and so on. To be fair, fashion colored-hair was rare in Stockholm too, but at least it wasn’t so unheard of that you wouldn’t stumble upon a magenta-haired individual on a subway. It was enough of a novelty for me that I was compelled to take a picture.
