CIMG7806 A pedal-powered mini Ferris wheel, displayed at the Maker Faire 2007, and probably created by the same group of engineers or artists that created the other human muscle-powered merry-go-rounds and faire rides displayed in this post. Except it’s not a stationary Ferris wheel. It is something even cooler: it rolls along the ground as the two people in the seats suspended on the spokes keep pedaling.

It does look like people are pushing it from behind. Maybe because it was rolling slightly uphill?

Maker Faire was a two-day event that celebrated arts, crafts, engineering, science projects and the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset. It took place in Austin, Texas in October 2007.
